I have a ford jubilee that I recently pulled the starter out of and had rebuilt. I'm afraid in all the handling I have ruined the starter drive. The part that the gear is on is about two inches lower that the spring and you can see threads. Is this normal? I will try to post a picture later. My next question is how do I know exactly which starter drive I need? I have looked around on the internet and see many different ones and do not want to chance getting the wrong one. Thanks for any info im still new to my jubilee but from what I have noticed im lucky and it does have the Sherman trans.
