8600 will not go in reverse

Got a 8600 that will not go in reverse. Ive made
adjustments to linkage by the service manual instructions.
But still no reverse motor just lugs down like it has gears
jammed. Does anyone have any experience with this
problem?

It is most likely wear of the pegs or cams on the right side, that push the shift forks. I think that you can get at the problem without a split if you are lucky. It is the round cover where the arms on the side are attached.
