don't have to be at work till 11:30 am today, so got up dark thirty and fed the animals, took my walk while waiting for sun to come up.

took the fenders off, sanded on them, had to burn a nut or 2 off.

fenders as is most of the tin is slightly rough. she's a mutt beater so i'm really only doing rust abatement. cutting out rusty spots and only patching holes bigger than bolt holes. would take me more $ and time to get the tin straight vs just buying new tin.. ain't doing that for what will be a worker. just want to prevent rust..

got the fenders sanded and primed, already had the hood side panels primed, figured i'd do that grey tin today. I'll worry about wheels at the end when i can take them off and worry about them, not needing to move the tractor.

air and exhaust off, seat off, etc. pretty much ready to go. I could have even shot red today if i had wanted to.

but alas it was not meant to be. as i was in the shop stiring the grey,i heard thunder, or was that the neighbors motorcycle. mor emixing ( hold off on the reducer and catylist for a bit ).. and then rat a tat tat tat. i hear the rain.

bummer. pour the paint back into the can, tap the lid on and close down the shop. rain is light but it's hear.. even if it had quit the moment it started the droplets and humidity would have killed me. and now too close to time to work.

argh!!!!!

;)

I've been doing a lot of sanding and painting lately too.
Slow going for me on this one, same as you.
Life and mother nature happens. LOL
I'm hoping to be done within a week or two, but not rushing.

Today would have been good for prep and paint here. Dry air and warm temps. But found a tractor I wanted to look at close by and did that instead. Added a 2600 to the fleet! Clean and paint will wait :D
