I've got an '86 5610 that I've been installing an older Ford 727 loader on. It has been a direct bolt up so far, and I had some custom hoses made to plug the hydraulic lines into the quick disconnects for the remote hydraulics at the rear of the tractor.
Now I am having a helluva time getting the lift cylinder line to stay in the quick connect behind and to the left of the driver's seat. After quite a bit of profanity, I got the tilt cylinder to work as it should, but the lift line will not stay in place, and keeps popping out when a bit of pressure is applied.
Are these quick connects known for not locking down? I see they have the ring of ball bearings to engage the channel cut into the male insert. Am I doing something wrong?
