Greetings all -

Last winter, I requested help from you on my 4th gear popping out of gear under a moderate load. Many came back that the spring that holds the ball in place is probably at fault.

WayneIA indicated a bolt on the right side of the transmission hides the spring & ball.

I checked last night, and it could be one of several locations.

Could/would someone photograph that area and indicate which bolt is the correct one to look into ?

Thanks !

Pete

It should be a counter sunk screwdriver slotted capscrew half way down he side of he transmission case. Probably will need to break it loose with a punch or screwdriver and a hammer
