While sitting idling one day I noticed a little variation in speed. I haven't used it a lot lately and didn't know when the filter was replaced last so I picked one up. When I put it on, the fuel wouldn't prime up so even though I hate to do it I filled the filter and put it on. Still no prime, but it started and ran with just a little cranking. Next two starts I had to keep cranking while it fired intermittently for about 15 seconds. Next time it started OK. Runs good with full power, mowed for about 3 hours with 9 foot discbine-no problems. I decided to see what would happen with both tanks full. Primer still doesn't prime and now it won't start at all. I believe that I have a fuel line leak and I plan to see if I can seal the tank fill well enough to give it about five psi air pressure, and see if I can find a leak. I suspect the primer pump. Anyone have any experience with this?
