I need to make one. Lost the paper with the measurement. Tractor is 200 miles away. Going to use a plastic barrel and cement. Could someone measure one of their implements and fill in the question marks in my cheesy drawing. Thanks, Bob.

Category one 3 pt hitch implements are not all the same.
However, 26-27 inches wide and 18 - 20 inches tall should
get the job done. Those are measurements I just took off
three of my implements to get an average.
 
Thanks Royse! Yeah, i know they vary a little. That should get it done though. Welder is down state until i find a cheap enough Lincoln to go up there. Still have that wheel weight lying in garage floor waiting for you if you ever make it to Harrison when I'm up there. Next time is Aug 16 through 24.

might be able to make it up there one of the Saturdays.
We can work out the details as to time, etc, but it would
probably be late morning/early afternoon.
 
remember to keep the toplink connection point of the weight near an edge so the toplink don't bottom on the lip of the weight when raised.
 
Just cut 2 holes in the barrel and put a draw bar thru it.We've had one like that for 50 years.As far as the top link hookup I see no reason for it.Good Luck.
 
cast a steel tube thru the weight for a drawbar.
Then you can pull the drawbar out for other uses.
(an old basement jack post is the right size....the bigger half if it's a slide together one.)

ps you can do a better job on the toplink mount. Junk I had laying around. I dislike buying new parts.......

and save the other piece of the jack post.
Slip it in for a quick pickup, and ya don't even need a drawbar...
