861 power steering seal

Helping a friend who has a 1958 861. Power steering fluid is
gushing out of the vent on the gear box. Stop by the dealer today to
check on parts and they said the seal we will need is no longer
available. We have not tore into it yet just wanted to check parts
availability. He said we would need #28 & # 32 in the parts diagram.
Would this be correct? If not available what are our options?

I would say your best option is to find another dealer who can do a simple parts look up.
These power steering questions get asked fairly often here. So follow the link below to an older thread that should answer your questions.
Take those part numbers and tell him they are what you need.

Thanks for the detailed information. I will go to another dealer tomorrow and see if they are more helpful.
