I was changing the mesh elements ain"t the air cleaner on my
recently acquired Ford 860 and noticed that I took out what
looked like the equivalent of 4 mesh elements (at least based
on the size of the replacements I ordered - which they said
only 2 were needed). The new mesh pieces were 3-4 inches
long., and 2 will not completely fill the air cleaner cavity. Is the
cavity suppose to be completely full with mess - does the air
cleaner actually take more than the 2 mesh elements they say
are required? Thanks in advance for any help!
