Subject: How to adjust lift on 1963 Ford 2000 gasoline 4 cylinder tractor?
I have a Ford 2000 1963 tractor with 4 cylinder gasoline engine that I bought new in 1963. I gave it to my father and after he died he gave it back to me. He had had the lift totally rebuilt before he died. It now will lift okay but you have to have the lift lever about one inch from the top for it to lift and it will lift all the way up and hold. When letting the lift down the lift lever moves about one inch from the top and the lift goes all the way down. There is no in-between with the lift lever. It lifts all the way up or all the way down. Can any adjustment be made to the lift lever on the right side of the tractor so that there is a range between the lift being all the way up or all the way down?
