3600 instrument panel question

I just picked up a 3600, and have manuals etc on the way, in the meantime i was wondering if someone could tell me what a certain light on the instrument panel is for. there are four round lights across the bottom of the panel, two on one side of the tach and 2 on the other.

questions is on the 'left' side the light all the way to left has a picture of a battery and comes on when I turn the key, i'm wondering whats the 'next' light to it for? the second light from the left. it has a picture of what looks like a dotted line across the middle with an arrow pointing down thru the dotted line.
thanks for any help

at idle its on but as i rev up it goes away. will it respond like that?

while i'm on the subject, which one is oil pressure?
how do i know if the oil pressure sensor is working?

thanks

That's the air filter warning light... but it gets it's power from the oil pressure circuit and it self checks when the oil pressure light it ON. Does the oil pressure light work at all when you turn the key on? If not, GET IT FIXED IMMEDIATELY... I'm wondering if you don't have an issue there with pressure and the light is not working to show it.

I read an older post saying something about some connection to the oil light circuit also???

Now I'm more concerned, thus my question on how to check the oil pressure warning lamp. Because, when I turn the key on 'only' the Battery light comes on all the others stay off. after i crank then the 'air filter' light jumps around until i throttle up.

but as i said, i am nervous running it without a way to monitor the oil pressure.

even thinking someone could have swapped wires around when they did some work on it.

thanks, david
