Shop full of Fords

Working in the shop today snapped a couple pics of
a full house of Fords. Prefer to only work on fords
but others always find there way in but not today.
The problem is only 2 of them are paying customers,
the rest are our projects and my friends 5200 I'm
helping him with.

We had it built by Martin Metal out of Excelsior MO. There only about 15 miles from us so they were handy. The trusses are built by Hostetler mfg out of Buffalo MO. We went with this design because we raise turkey"s and our barns have the same design truss and we liked the fact that you could get plenty of height in the middle with a shorter side wall. It is 10 ft sides which gives a little more than than 14 ft clearance to the bottom of the truss bracing in the middle and about 18 ft to the peak between the trusses which are on 10 ft centers. I would highly recommend the Hostetler truss over other similar ones I"ve seen. Our barns were first built with Adams brand trusses and we had one collapse in 2006 from ice and snow. They are much lighter and less bracing in the middle. Granted a turkey barn is not the best environment for anything metal but several barns were lost in that storm and none were the Hostetler truss.

Nice shop, nice mix of tractors. Nice seeing a 602 picker with sheller attachment. Never seen one other than advertisements.
