8700 condensate hose

I have an 8700 that the mud daubers are plugging the air conditioner condensate hose, and I can't find the lower end of the hose. I have lifted the top, and blown the hose out with air to clear it, but that is getting old. Where is the end of that hose? How hard is a new hose hard to pull through the post, so that I can get a longer one in there? What can I do to prevent those wasps from building in that hose?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Mine has two hoses, one on each side that run down the front pillers... If you have the same cab.. look up at the bottom of the front pillers and should see a hose hanging down.. its about a 1.4 inch diameter iirc.... The middle pillar has the ac hoses on the left and heater hoses on the right side.

I didn't realize there are two, one on each side. I have looked for the one on the front right pillar on the underneath side, and can not find it, it does not come down far enough to be seen. I will check on the left side.

Thanks.

When I worked for Case I noticed that those hoses had a duck bill sort of thing in the end of them. The water could drip out through it , or you could squeeze the sides of it and it would open for cleaning .That would keep out the daubers !!

Well I can't see the hose on either side. Will have to lift the cab hood again, and find the hose drain on the left side, blow it out, along with the right side.

Thanks for your help guys.

undo the hose at the top of the drain run a piece of weed eater string through it and out of the bottom. That should let you locate it.
