Why would you need to balance a low RPM engine like a 134?. You balance a racing engine that turns 10,000 RPMs. 4 cylinder diesel engines have balancers or balance shafts. To completely balance an engine the crankshaft,flywheel and even the clutch assembly is spun on a balance machine and weight is added or removed in the proper places. The pistons are weighed and and material is removed to get them as close as possible to the same weights, and the connecting rods are done the same way. We used to run a well balanced modified mini stock Ford 2300 We ran it 8000 to 9000 RPM and never had a failure.
