Ford 8340 rear axle seal leaking

I have a ford 8340 4x4 with a right rear axle seal leaking.
I work on cars and trucks but this is my first tractor. Wondering
if I should tackle this or send it out for repairs?
Anyone have an idea how hard it is? Or special tools required

Requires pulling rear axle housing off dismantling to replace seal but check end play of axle prior to removal from housing as they should have preload.
