I am considering looking at purchasing a Ford 1720 I have searched through a fair number of posts on here, but most of them are a few years old or not related.
Anyway, I'll attach the posting I'm looking at and let me know what your thoughts are. I would say it's in fairly decent shape for the year and hours it has, paint is anyway.
$4450
1992 Ford 1720
Ford 1720 28HP, 4WD with 3345 Hrs with canopy, Front Loader, 60" Finish Mower, 60" brush hog, 60" back blade.
Have had it for 8 years, mostly used for mowing and a little moving of dirt, etc. Always runs great and starts, even in cold. Rubber good on all four tires.
Finish mower deck is 6 or 7 yrs old, 60 " King Cutter. Very well made. Just put new blades on it. Belt cover intact but screws broke off.
60" Brush hog is old, rusted and I use it to knock down thick bushes, etc. without worrying about it.
60" Back blade is solid, well constructed, no idea how old. I use it for snow plowing.
