Early NAA series Ford 2000 gas tractor .
I am away from my manuals now ,and would like for someone to refresh my memory.
What weight hydraulic/differential oil went into this series tractor ?

Dunno, Bud! NAA and 2000 are at least two and possibly three different tractors. There is no such thing as an NAA 2000.

As Larry said, no such thing as a "NAA Series 2000".

The NAA was a model that was made in 1953 and 1954.

Then there were 2 different tractors that Ford called a 2000, one had a 4 cylinder engine and was made from 1961-1964 and the other had a 3 cylinder engine and was made from 1965-1975.

Since you are asking "What weight hydraulic/differential oil went into this series tractor ?" I am guessing that you are referring to the 3 cylinder 2000, which was the only one of those 3 models that had a single sump for the 3 point hydraulics and rear axle. The other 2 models had 2 separate sumps, one for the hydraulics and one for the rear axle. If that is the tractor that you are asking about, then you should use a UTF that says on the label that it meets or exceeds the Ford/New Holland M2C134D specification.

I have both.
I was in a hurry when I typed in the post, sorry, my fault.
I have a early NAA series which is a 1954.
I also have a early 4 cylinder 2000, a 1964.

both the naa and the 4 cyl 2000 have seperate trans, diffy, and hyds sumps.

You can put a UTF oil in all 3 sumps, or gear oil in trans and diffy, and utf in the hyds.

Many times hyds and diffy mix thru the seal the pto shaft runs thru.. so many opt for utf in all 3 or at least utf in hyds and diffy and gear oil in trans. your call.

Just about any utf you can buy today will 'work'.. but if you are looking for a spec lookul m2c134 occasionally you find a bargain utf for 19$ for 5g that says it meets the spec, though not viscosity. , again. ok for warmer climates.. but in arctic conditions. it can get pretty thick.. mid grade oils in the 35$ per 5g are common.. with premiums running upwards to 80$ per 5g, usually name branded.. etc.
