Ford on eBay

X00 hood, X01 fenders. You'd think he'd move it or cover the oil puddles underneath it before taking photos with intentions of selling it.

How about an 860 with the wrong fenders. Check out the distance between the steering wheel and the dash. Definitely a mute.

I like that it says "beautiful restored" with a "good" motor,
3 new tires and a universal flex hose for the air intake tube.
What is the bracket and brace under the left dogleg for?
I can't see if it has one on the other side.
Doesn't look sturdy enough for a loader mount.

(quoted from post at 22:56:23 06/19/14) That is in fact a mounting bracket for a Ford 703 loader.
Thanks Alan, I did a quick search and can see from the pictures how
that plate mostly holds the frame up as opposed to being pushed against.
What do the back end of the round bars hook to? A belly plate of sorts?

Hi
you would also think putting the tools away that are on the foot boards would be a good idea as well. Nice paint don't always sell a tractor, from what I have seen, some fresh outta town hobby farmer might be that intellectually challenged though. After all it's in the right place for those guys with more money than brains L.O.L.
Regards Robert

The aft end of the rods attach to the front axle cradle/bolster. The holes are in the cradle from the factory.

Well it is definately a 850, I can see the 5 on the
shifter cover, looks like he has kept it a 6 volt.
nice paint

It definitely has a 5 speed, but it could be number of different models. 850 wasn't the only model with a 5 speed. Since it has mismatched hundred series and '01 series tin, it could be a 650, 660, 850, 860, 651 or 661, and if the grill isn't original it could be an 851 or 861 as well. Only the numbers stamped on the flat spot on the transmission will tell, and that'll only tell you what tractor the transmission was attached to when it left the factory.
