860 lift cover

I have gone through some other posts to rebuild the
lift cover on my 860 and they were very helpful.
The problem I am having is I have very little
movement of the position control handle. The
hydraulic lift control lever moves freely on the
shaft, but the drawbar control arm is moving with
the shaft. Is that normal or should they both move
freely?

our terminology/names of items leaves much to be desired. Difficult to answer when can't determine the question. Lift arms are keyed to shaft, so move together. Touch control lever is also keyed to its shaft & as such should not "move on the shaft". I'll assume "position control handle" is the DRAFT/POSITION mode selector, about 3 inches long at top right of lift cover. It has a horiz & vertical positions & only moves 90 degrees.

I am using names from the parts manual. The parts
are the ones that attach to the lift control shaft
inside the cover and control the linkage. I took
them off again and re-cleaned them. Now the lever
moves like it should. I guess I missed something
before.

I'm looking at the FO-20 & still don't know parts you are referencing........but that's OK, I don't need to, since you seem to have cleared the problem.
