Bearing Out

I have a 4000 ford that has a bearing out in the bottom shaft of the transmission on the front wall. Any body else had this? looks like we'll be splitting it at the motor and bell housing. Fun Fun!

It helps us if you tell us if this is an earlier 4 cylinder 4000 or a later 3 cylinder 4000. Also, which exact transmission is it? The early 4 cylinder 4000s could have a 4 speed, 5 speed or Select-O-Speed transmission, while the later 3 cylinder models could have a 6 speed, 8 speed or Select-O-Speed.
