Farm auction, mostly older equipment. 11 tractors, 9N and 6610 were the only Fords there. 9N was kinda ugly, but ran OK ("recent rebuilt motor"). Vertical glass pack muffler, decent tires. $1025. 6610 seemed OK for the hours (almost 7900). Good tires, sounded good, but don't know how well it starts. Nothing special, nothing glaringly wrong. Woods loader went with it. Couldn't text fast enough to see if my cousin wanted in on it. (he would have) $6000. They bought the tractor and got a free loader with it. I was only there to bid on a combine head, which I got - only had to outbid a scrapper.

Another way too look at it... someone got a woods loader, a set of Firestones and a pig in a bag... You know yourself, at those hours it could easily need that much in repairs and then some. It doesn't look like they ever spared it much. That said it could be a good tractor...

6610 is a real good tractor but I'm not sure I would have put a 1020 woods loader on it. We used the 1020 loaders on the ford 2120 compact tractors so I would think it is kind of light for a 6610.

Looks like the weather was agreeable, too.

I took the picture in a lull between the rain and snow showers.
