Jubillee - Original Color Scheme?

I am restoring a Jubilee. Were they originally 3 color. When I bought it, the wheels are sort of off-white, the fenders and hood are light grey, and the belly is that orangy Ford red.

Is this original?

I'm sure someone else will comment, but I think the wheels were the same gray as the hood and fenders. The lighter wheels may be the lighter gray that the later number series used.

The wheels were a cadnium color , but I used a crackled aluminum paint in spray cans . The wheel centers are in Ford light gray just like all the tin is . The complete belly & all 4 hubs are painted Ford red , radiator & shroud & the steering wheel & tube is black .For a harder & longer lasting finish , add hardner to your paint . A lot of guys just brush the paint onto the belly . But using air & a paint gun will give the tin a much nicer finish . HTH ! God bless , Ken

Like this. Hat rims were cad colored, use a flat gray, several out there that are close. Some folks paint the generator and starter black, and the seat was black originally from factory.

The Orangy red was used on the XX1s. Jube is vermilllion. I have yet to come across any plated rims, they have all been painted silver with no plating under the paint. The steering tube was red.
