3 Point lift Draft control

I have a 1954 ford 640 that the lift stopped going all the way up. It sounded like the cam or cam follower pin so I took it to a Ford implement dealer and they fixed the lift part and now it works fine, however now the lift in draft control and the draft control does not work. If you put it there the arms drop all the way down and will not do anything unless you go back to implement control. Any ideas on what they left loose or aligned wrong after replacing the worn cam follower pin as the draft worked before it was replaced?

Insufficient information but, perhaps, the draft and/or position control adjustments were not done or not done properly.

I would expect that the techs at most CNH dealers have neither the tools not the skill to perform these adjustments.

Dean, thanks much for the info but this is a Ford dealer I went to and the draft seemed alright when I took it in. When you put the draft lever in the draft position you could see it adjusting in small increments but now it does not lift or position at all it just lets the arms fall to there lowest level and then no response at all. To get it to do anything you need to go back to the implement position. The reason I took it in was the arms would not raise to max height and they replaced a pin which it seems was the cam follower pin about a 1/4 in round and an inch long and the lift was then good but the draft position does not lift or move now. They called this pin the position control arm pin. Being new to this forum not sure what CNH is unless that is the Case New Holland part as is the dealer I went to. Thanks for any help/direction/pictures etc. Lew

As Dean said, and I agree, I would suspect that most CNH techs nowadays would have neither the knowledge nor the tools to adjust this old girl.

CNH is Case New Holland.

Again, insufficient information but draft and/or position control adjustments are highly suspect.

Adjustment procedures are in the I & T FO-20 manual, including procedures that will get you quite close without special tools.
