This is what happens when I have been up too long,
I bought a Pertonix EI for a 6 volt positive
ground and decided to install it today. I have
everything hooked up and now I am at the point of
wiring the system. The instructions say to wire
the black/white wire to the negative side of the
coil and then the black wire goes to the ignition
switch and a 20 gauge wire to the + bat or
chassis. My original connections are from the
Dist. side of the coil to the distributor and from
the batt side of the coil to the solenoid. So the
question is do I put the black/white wire on the
dist side and the black wire on the batt side and
what about the 20 gauge wire the instructions
state?
