10spd but NOT SOS ??

are you perhaps counting 8 forward gears and 2 reverse as a 10speed?

that's an 8spd twin stick just to clear things up.

if you count reverse.. then SOS are 12speeds. ;)

Yes it has 8 forward gears and 2 reverse with two shifting levers. I did put a 2x4 against it and it wouldn't stop...would chew the 2x4 up. I did try to turn it when it was not running and it will turn...someone wanted to know that???

I guess it sounds like the clutch no the break from what I've been reading. That means we have to separate the tractor... I guess maybe a job for someone else. And put in most the new parts as long as we are in there..

Thanks again for all your help!!

sounds like a control valve issue.. it is staying powered.

if it was a piled up or warped clutch.. it would have been stiff when off.
