I just bought a 641 with iffy power-steering and a Sherman step-up (might be a combo) for $1550 delivered. My plan is to add a loader to it and try to fix the PS but I could put the loader/PS on my 860 that I use now for mowing. (I'm going to sell the 881 Gold Demonstrator after I take the power-steering off it and maybe swap the tin and fuel tank---keeping the SOS-engine-rearend as a unit might get me some dollars...)
Is there much advantage in using the loader on a higher HP machine? I don't plan on doing much with it---just moving boulders and implements and shifting earth.
