Battery Tray

I'm looking to build a replica battery tray for my 65 Ford 3000 Gasser as no after markets seem to exist or are correct(only for later years and diesel models). The tray has a notched section where it pivots for the Air Cleaner Box hose that runs down to the Carb. It seems later year tractors don't have this notch for the hose and the battery sits further back (The tray is a complete rectangle without the notch). The mystery i'm trying to solve is what did they change with hose / air cleaner box to make it so the battery tray no longer needs the notch for the air cleaner hose?
Thanks,

We just went through this the other day but now I can't find that post.
Sean and Rick are correct. Only one battery tray for a 2,3,4000 1965-1975 gasser.
CNH shows they still sell one.
However, your early 3000 would have used a one piece tray and bracket. The tray itself #5 and the bracket it swings on #2 are not seperable.
If you go to a boneyard and buy the bracket #2 and pin #11 then you can use the new style tray.
The bracket is the same for both gas and diesel.
