641 Throttle Linkage

I do appreciate everyone's patience with me as I do my first tractor split to install a new clutch. So I am ready to raise the steering gear box and need to disconnect the throttle linkage so it does not get bent. The is a linkage that looks like its snaps over ball-ends. Before I force it off wanted to check to see if that is the way to do it.

Yes the linkages will snap off of a ball end. Take the throttle linkage off at the bell crank friction disc end. Remove the bell crank and friction disc. Remove the two little 5/16s bolt the hold the throttle lever. Take the choke rod with you when you remove the steering gear bolts.
