[color=indigo:7b0a09fa14]Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any way of removing the hydraulic lift cover on a Ford 600, without taking the cab apart?

Thanks[/color:7b0a09fa14] :D

Depends on how your cab is configured, but that cover is darn heavy. Definitely need a hoist or two guys to put it back on. I took mine off by myself without a hoist, but would not recommend it.

As CBrown said it depends on the cab. Usually the cab is just unbolted and lifted six inches or so in the back then after unbolting and unhooking everything you can slide an engine hoist in and pick it up and wheel it out.

Thank you both for your comments. :D
I also have another tractor a 4600 with a lift problem.
Last year whilst I was coming down a rough lane, carrying a light implement, it suddenly dropped to the ground and will not raise.
Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? Might it be a bust pipe internal?

It sounds like a sudden major internal leak. I would start by removing either or both of the upper covers on either side of the rear housing and watch for a leak while running. It should be easy to spot.
