Hello All

Looking for a 6600 2 replace my 5000 anything I should be on the look out for any know issues with the 6600 I should be aware of?

A 6600 is an even better 5000. No known issues with those tractors. Enjoy.

Get one with the Dual Power transmission, if you can. You'll like it.

On the dual power would be the 16 sp correct?
Haven't operated one of those how do you work it?

Yes, that is the 16 speed. There is a lever on the LH side of the dash. You can powershift this lever at any time, without clutching.

The shifting lever is it mechanical, electrical, hydraulic?

It's an 8-speed with a power-shifted direct/under drive.

Mechanical on a 6600, they went to electric on the series 10.

The one I had cooling was iffy but it was one made in the last 3 months of production and had the 268 instead of the 256.

Watch government auctions a lot of tractors that size were used as roadside mower tractors.
