851 jumps out of first gear

It doesnt do it often,only going down hill, but in east Tn its either up or down a hill. The shifter feels like it could go father into gear. Goes father into second than first. Not sure of the hours on this tractor,but judging from the worn clutch pedal its a bunch. Shifter or worn gears, or both? Thanks
 
It could also be as simple as a worn detent and spring. They wear and will allow the trans to slip out of gear. Access is located on the left side of the trans. You'll see three flathead screws, the middle one is for 1st and 2nd I believe. Just remove the screw and a spring and detent will follow. Just a thought.
