3000 won't crank

I just rebuilt my 3000 and now I got no power to the key. I checked all the simple stuff , battery has 12.87 volts and I have the same at the solenoid but nothing at the key no head light or anything I cleaned all the connection and the ground twice still nothing what am I missing ?

When you say at the solenoid do you mean where the battery positive comes in? My guess would be bad connection, wire or solenoid itself. Have you tried to jump/bypass the solenoid?

Could be many things. Try a simple hot wire from the battery ignition side to the coil and a jumper cable to the ignition side of the battery to the starter. Make 1000% sure it is out of gear before doing this. If it spins over and starts you have a wiring problem or ignition switch that is bad

lamps int he dash come on with key?

( did you pull the dash to check for custom wireing? )

check fuse?

3000 won't crank
