Want to thank everyone on forum for the past posts that help me solve my electrical issues. Big thanks to Soundguy for his electrical wizardry! Briefly, my problem was not getting charge from 6v gen. I did the motor test which showed good generator. I then checked all wiring per diagram and it was good, then isolated problem to regulator, Got new regulator at NAPA for about $40. Put it in ( after lots of cussing trying to work under dash), then polarized the genny. Also put in new key switch as one of wires broke off soldered connection. Got a better key switch at NAPA for about $15. Boy, it fired right up and charged perfect. First time in long time I am happy with entire electrical system. Also put in a new wiring harness from Yesterday Tractor parts store. New battery last fall, so I am satisfied! Thanks again for tips. I am electrically challenged!
