541 FORD 1959 off-set

Bought tractor with rod thru block (casting No.
310905. Came with good block casting no.
00NN6015J. Question is- Can I switch the good
part of original motor to this block? Thanks for
any help.

310905 is a 134 ci engine block, which is what a 541 should have. I don't recognize 00NN6015J as a valid engine block casting number. The closest thing to that number tht I can find is C0NN6015J, so if you mis-typed, and it is actually C0NN6015J, then that is a 172 ci block. Some parts will swap. like the oil pump, valve cover, and such that is not displacement specific, but the pistons, crankshaft, cylinder head, etc. will not.

I think that the pistons are the only thing that will not interchange, assuming you have a CONN6015J engine. In fact that whole engine will fit right in your 541, if you so desire.
