hydraulic valve add on

I recently purchased theHydraulic Adapter Kit Part Number HV4902. I attached it to my ford 2600 and then plumbed in an open center valve with power beyond. I want make sure I have it plumbed correctly .I connected 3 hoses in this manner:

I connected a hose from the power port on the adaptor kit to the in port on the one spool valve.
2. I connected a hose from the return port on the valve to the return port on the hyd. adaptor block.
3. I connected a hose from the power beyond port on the open center valve to the power beyond port on the adaptor plate/block.
my 3 point works and the valve body works so i assume everything is ok.

However something in the back of my head says maybe i should have connected things differently with the power beyond ports and the power/in ports. Thanks.

Sounds like you got it correct to me. If you want to add an additional control valve in the future, connect the power beyond port from the first valve to the power in port on the additional valve and then run the return port on the additional valve to the power beyond port on the adapter plate. The additional valve should be set up as open center with no power beyond port.

The only difference between the return port and power beyond port on the adapter plate is that the power beyond port can handle more flow, so the way that you have it is correct for a control valve that has a power beyond port. I have a regular open center control valve on mine with no power beyond port, so in my case I connected the return line of the valve to the power beyond port on the adapter plate and plugged the return port on the adapter plate.
