Just took delivery of a 1989 Ford tw35 mark 11. Tractor has issue with warning lights/oil pressure despite having been told tractor was in good mechanical condition. I think I could have a serious problem or it could just be a problem with electronics/electrics. Engine starts and runs fine (ive only had it running a couple of minutes though so not a lot to go on)but there are warning lights and bleepers going off. It has an electronic dash with bar graphs on the left side. When I turn on the ignition switch the oil pressure light along the top of the dash comes on, once I start her up it goes out quickly. The oil pressure bar graph down the left of the dash however flashes on the red, bleeps and there is also the word STOP in large writing across middle of the dash. I havent tried it since. Im guessing I need to put a oil pressure gauge on to her for a manual check. Any ideas, thoughts or personal experiences of this problem or remedy much appreciated.
Thanks
Bill

I would just buy a cheap oil pressure gauge and plug the capillary in where the sender for the current unit is, then watch it and see what it does.
