ford 901 leaking oil

I was out plowing snow today and noticed my dad 901 was leaking hydraulic fluid out of the the pump. It is leaking were the proofmeter screws into it does not have a proofmeter on it. Any suggestions?

Should be engine oil from the camshaft gear drive.
No real seal to speak of.

If it is hydraulic oil, the lip seal inside is gone, but it is suction to the pump, so I don't think it is hydraulic.

Find a proof cable nut and make a plug and seal it in or set up a proof meter and cable.

Something "ain"t" right here or I am not understanding your problem. I don"t believe hydraulic oil can leak from the Proof-Meter drive. But it could be engine oil! .Better have a closer look and see what is leaking where.

My first guess would be the gasket between the pump and the block. If it is leaking at the tack drive, make sure you have a gasket between the drive and the pump
