Guy on another forum asked about this tractor his dad bought new.
Says this is the only number under the starter....310609
Can't get hold of him till this evening to check for more numbers.

310609 was the casting number for the 172 cu in engine block in 1958 and part of 1959. It is located on the right side of the block.

The model and serial numbers are not under the starter. They are just above and toward the rear of the tractor from the starter, below the battery tray on the left side.
