JMOR: Thank you. As you can tell, my thinking is not conducive to hydraulic understanding and repairs. Going to reread the I&T manual to try to refresh my memory.

to help wrap your mind around the hyds.

imagine a box blade onthe 3pt and it engaging the ground. box is pushed back essentially.. making it roatate around the 3p lower pins and compresses the toplink..

Soundguy: Thanks. Great explanation for a dummy. However, I did hang a heavy back blade on the Jubilee 3 point and tried the hydraulics with the selector lever horizontal, constant draft mode, and when I raised the touch control lever, the lift arms moved up very slowly for about 1 inch!! Checked the main control spring and found it immovable, even with channel lock pliers!! Obviously the yoke has been tightened way too much. Going to adjust it to the proper tension and see if that helps.
