I started off i your suggested spot, had my nehew come over and keep rotating the crank BTDC and finally came to a line a stamping that is either a DC or BC or OC...something "C"...is this where I time the pump too?
It appears as I mentioned before, it would correspond to me pulling the pump and re-indexing it-based on how the pump was rotated in the coupler.
2nd question...mercy...do I use the "center punched dot" on the coupler, or what appears to be a chisel line/scribe?
Both will require me to re-index the pump...but appear to be about a tooth off from each other (guesstimate).
