Finally got a few pictures of the 850 and 5200 my cousin bought last week.
The loader is a Fasco 1200, which after reading in the archives I see is the same as a late '60's - early '70's Ford 1200. I'll be taking it off soon, so the half tracks can be put on. Tractor needs a little work - starter push button, seat, PTO seal, etc. Nothing major that I've seen. Has a 801 grill and Jubilee nose emblem, but as those are just cosmetic, I doubt they'll get fixed. Should be a big improvement from the borrowed (and kinda tired) 8N they used last spring. The 5200 may be here a while, or may be sold... he hasn't decided yet. Needs a water pump, shift lever locator pin, and tach work (don't know yet if it's the tach, cable, or drive) Every time I see a row crop with 30" rears, I wonder why it was ordered that way... At least this one doesn't combine 16.9x30's with 7.50x18's. The one I saw like that REALLY ran uphill!

FordFarmer, I've got that same loader on my 640 but it has a trip bucket. What are you doing with the loader and controls? Let me know. Thanks.

I put it in the Photo Ads earlier today...and it will go on craigslist once I get it off the tractor. Hope to have that done by this weekend. My cousin has no use for it, since he has an Allied quick-tach for his fwa 7710. Email is open, if you want more specifics.

Pretty fair looking tractors.
He ought to paint the 850 the right color - so it matches the loader. :)

And ruin that patina that has taken years to create? Nah... :) It will probably be so covered in mud next spring that no one will know what color it is, anyway.

My 5200 came with 18.4/30's and they have worked very well for me on our clay fields. Other brought in had 16/38's and were used on the sandy tobacco farms. The 5200 was a $500 option in those days.

My cousin asked the same thing when we were looking at the auction site pictures. 850 stamped on the bellhousing (auction co. didn't show that), no charge light or fuel gauge, Ford script on the hood, hundred series fenders...just the grill is 801.

It looks like 850 air cleaner and intake and definitely 850 manifolds.
