New to me 4000, 4 cyl gas and I'm trying to get to the radiator. Does the dash have to come off with the hood? Does the cast part along the bottom front of the grill need to come off? Thanks.

you may find that you just have to do some bolt loosening and not completely disasemble the tin.

in any case. dash and cowling would not have to come off.

spluit at the nose. and doglegs and at most, the rear of the hood sides and then you can access the radiator

cast part along the bottom of the grill? ag model should have no cast part under the grill. a rowcrop will have a steering pedistal.. and you can remove the rad from that.

Just put a new radiator in my 64 model 4000, had the hood off in about 30 to 45 min.when going back, I did take the advice of some of the other guys on here to replace the old bolts with new, and the gauge pod, will hand there, there are 2 bolts that hold it on when tou open the door- hood, and there are 4 that you have to bend around and get to that hold the side panels on the gauge pod, you may want help removing the hood, after you get it unbolted, it will wiggle pretty good, as you pick it up, but I took mine off and on by myself, good luck, oh and make sure you install new pads under the radiator!
