5610 power steering pump update

I installed the new pump this morning and ran the engine just long enough to turn the steering wheel to the stops 5 times in both directions. When I checked the oil level in the PS, it only needed a thimble full to top it up, so it had only required a little over a quart of fluid to fill the system. The manual calls for 2 quarts. Have I overlooked something? By the way, I had removed and emptied the oil cooler when I took off the old pump.

If you didn't drain the cylinder and lines then that sounds about right... Just run it lock to lock a few times and recheck, fill to about 1/2" below the cap and call it good.
