1979(??) Ford 4600 Power Steering woes

New guy here with a seasoned 4600 diesel that's new to me. I've been searching for Ford and finally found one with a loader.

For the issue it is leaking in the power steering system. Most noticeably on the right side of the manifold (??) down near the driver's right foot. It seemed to be an issue with the crush washer on the hard line. After giving it a good check for tightness, the leaking seemed to diminish. I noticed after some time the arm on the left side started to gain some accumulation of fluid reside. At the same time it seems the power steering pump is seeping as well. Yet to pinpoint that source but the lines/elbows are collecting dust/dirt.

At this point I have considered some sort of seal/o-ring rebuild kit to solve this issue. I feel there may be some other issue causing the whole system to over pressurize somehow. I know this has gotten long winded but hope it has given enough information for those willing to give me some guidance. If pictures will help I can get some posted up as needed. Thank you in advance for your replies!!

Sounds like you need to re-seal both the box and the pump. The issue (or cause) is not too much pressure, but rather too much heat. Fords have a problem with this, and you might notice that later tractors use PS coolers to try and tackle this problem.
