NAA hydraulic pump

The lines hook up differently.
The NAA has external lines running under the transmission.
The x00 has them running through the transmission.
I'm not sure if there is an adapter or what it takes to make
them fit, but many NAA's have been changed to the round
case pump instead of the old square vane pump.

(quoted from post at 21:02:21 10/21/13) hundred series should.
o swearing to it here, but I do not think the NAA separate in/out tubes are compatible with the later in/out manifold.

Thank you!!! I have located a hundred series tractor so will go look to see if it is anything like the NAA.

look very carefully the main difference is the lines, take a pic of yours so you can compare side by side

Piston hydraulic pumps will interchange between NAA and 100 series tractors. If changing from a vane pump to a piston pump be sure to have applicable lines(NAA) of manifold (100 series)

hundred series piston pumps work fine,
but like said, if you have a vane pump now,
you will need the NAA external lines for a piston pump.
Find them before you tear everything apart, they are
getting scarce and very expensive.
(saw a set sell on ebay recently for more than a pump costs)

also, if changing from a vane to a piston pump, check carefully for interference
with the oil pressure sending fitting behind the pump.
Most fittings need a little tweaking, or you will break the pump mount when you tighten it down.

I have a pump ordered from the old hokie, but was hoping to get the tractor in service 'til the new pump came. Thanks
