I have a ford 900 with a front loader and two lever valve under seat loader lifts and bucket dumps but when I try to lift weight its a no go or very small amount of weight have changed fluid and have proper level is it my pump ? any help would be great thanks

Is it your pump? dunno. why don't you pressure test it.

what loader?

what lift cyl type?

plumb hyd gauge capable of 3000 psi into the work port on the valve or couple to the hose in place of the lift cyl.. see what she makes deadheaded.

if it makes good psi deadheaded ( 2000+ )

and still no lift, then test lift cyl if DA. if you have 2 test each seperately. 1 blown parallel cyl will teke out both..

if it is a da lift cyl, remove the hose to the drop port and pressurize the lift port. if oil just blows clean thru.. packing is gone

my valve is a 2 lever, ports on left say no.1 lift and no.1 drop right side no.2 lift no.2 drop my loader cyls are hooked to left side one cyl for each outlet the cyl are single acting the bucket cyl are hooked to the other side this cyl has a in and out where as the loader cyls have only a inlet I put pressure guage on all 4 outlets and got about 1700- 1725 psi you think my problem is in the cyl one or the other or both
thanks for your help

You have problems in your tractor somewhere. Could be a leak. Could be a pressure relief valve. Could be your pump. Do you hear any squealing under your seat when trying to lift? That would likely be your relief valve or a leak. Kinda hard to tell with no more than I know from this distance.

An observation: There should not be pressure on your #1 drop port if you're running single acting cylinders on #1. There ought to be a screw or a stem on that valve to change #1 from double acting to single acting operation. I know there is on single spool valves.

i know on many dual da spools, they have the option to turn only one side to sa.

all of my 'ford' style have that. even the tisco repops.

appears someone before me had 1 and 2 single acting cyls into the lift and drop ports coupled one and two togather and pluged into no 1 lift left no. 2 drop empty works like new the cyls were fighting against each other thanks for all the ideas and help you guys are great
