Hoping to get some help with a 3 point that wont lift. I suspect low fluid. I am not sure where the fluid fill is located on this 900 series Ford. I am pretty sure it is a 1955 model. Any help would be appreciated. I believe I should use universal transmission fluid is that correct?

On the 600/800/700 and 900 series you have 3 plugs one on the transmission by the shifter one under the seat and one a bit back on the rear end. The one under the seat is the fill for the hyds. Below that on the side should be the dip stick for checking how full it is or is not that is the first thing to check instead of guessing it is a fluid problem

Check the fluid level at the dipstick as Old pointed out.
Try changing from draft mode to position control or vice versa.

The pump may have lost it's prime also.
It can be primed through the hole on the top front of the pump.

A manual would be a big help. I&T manuals are fairly cheap.

post back what you find.

if it has oil.. and has fluid when you remov ethe plug ont he pump.. then the next bet is a sticky unloader.
