sos transmission

When the key is turned on there is "power" to the red light but it needs a "ground" to illuminate. The "ground" is obtained through a long wire that runs from the light all the way back to the round plate on the left side of the tractor where the traction disconnect is located. The wire runs through that round plate and connects to a pressure switch mounted on the aft end of the transmission. When the SOS pump in not pumping fluid the pressure switch is closed and the red light is grounded so it illuminates. When the engine is running and the SOS pump is pumping fluid at the correct pressure the pressure switch opens and the "ground" for the red light is disconnected and it turns off.
