What is the difference between a 7710 and a 7710 series 2 ? Would a 1988 7710 be a series 2 ? Thanks for replies.
 
Force II came in October of 85 and was denoted by the black/red decals...
The major differences were the flat roof on the cab and lighting changes along with a complete revision of the 16x8 syncro transmission.
Other changes came along after that in terms of MFWD axle changes in 87 and rotary fuel injection in 88 or 89. In terms of changes to the casual observer... the cab was the big one and that wasn't much change.
