Headlights with loader

3000 tractor with 730 loader.

I'm in the process of cleaning up my tractor after changing out the adjustable axle to a solid axle. Previously I had removed my headlights and mounted them on the loader, however now I would like to install them back on the tractor. I have the kind that mount on each side of the front cap. The loader is off now as is the tractor sheetmetal. My front cap has a hole with a concave area that was formed by the headlight mount and I'm thinking the easiest solution to dealing with this would be to simply re-install as they were originally.

Does anyone know if this will interfere with the loader arms (clearance)? Otherwise I'm guessing I will need to beat the mount points flat and plug the holes.

What do you think?

Measure the distance between loader arms, then measure width of sheet metal and add diameter of lights. I'm almost positive they will not fit! That's most likely why the lights were on the loader posts in the first place!

The reason the headlights are off now is because when I originally put on the loader I removed them. Now sure if it was a clearance issue then (almost 10 years ago). I don't have the front cap with me, it is at a friends who is straightening out some of the dings before painting. He called and asked me if I was planning on adding the headlights back or not.

Just wondering if anyone remembered them being a clearance issue.
